China Harbour Engineering Company Limited, due to project construction needs, intends to lease a wharf and hereby invites your company to submit a formal quotation for the wharf rental services. The relevant technical requirements, service scope, and quotation requirements are as follows:
1. Procurement Project Name
Wharf Rental Services Procurement
2. Service Location
Within 10 km around the old port area of Tema Port, Ghana.
3. Service Requirements and Technical Specifications
To meet our needs for daily vessel berthing, personnel boarding, cargo loading/unloading, and spare parts lifting operations, the following specific requirements are proposed for the wharf rental:
(1) Wharf Structure and Berthing Performance Requirements:
-The wharf must be equipped with stable boarding facilities.
-Water depth must exceed 3.5 meters to ensure all-weather berthing and normal navigation.
-Vessels that can be safely berthed shall meet the following conditions:
Length overall (LOA): not less than 30 meters
Draft: not less than 2.5 meters
-The wharf structure must be stable.
(2) Requirements for the Area Behind the Wharf:
- The land area behind the wharf shall be leveled with stable foundation conditions.
- It shall meet the requirements for crane installation and lifting operations.
(3) Rental Period
From 10 December 2025 to 9 June 2026
A total of 6 months
4.Payment Terms
(1) Progress payment: The rental fee for each month shall be confirmed by both parties on the 25th of each month and paid within 30 days after confirmation.
(2) Performance bond: 10% of the contract amount.
5. Quality and Safety Requirements
(1) The wharf facilities must comply with local port and safety regulatory requirements in Ghana.
(2) Your company shall ensure that the wharf remains usable and safe during the rental period. If maintenance is required, advance notice must be provided.
6. Quotation Requirements
(1)The quotation shall include:
- Tax-exclusive unit price and tax-exclusive total price for the wharf rental.
- Maintenance and repair of the wharf during the rental period shall be the responsibility of the lessor.
- Quotation validity period.
- All prices must be quoted on a tax-exclusive basis, and valid proforma invoices shall be provided at the time of settlement.
